I have trained and continue studying to work as a mindfulness based / trauma informed Licensed Professional Counselor, helping people grow through hard times such that troubling habits become gateways for insight. I'm said to be unconventional, with fearless trust in peoples' indestructible wisdom and their ability to align with it ever more authentically over the lifespan. * Links to institutions attended show current degree requirements, which may differ from requirements met during my attendance. In lieu of my actual transcripts, this information offers a general understanding of my academic track and accomplishments. ** While I continue studying and applying trauma-based approaches in therapy, I have only continued to practice and study EMDR, not CPT. It is important to note that even evidence-based trauma protocols are not right for everyone. Many clients have reported dissatisfaction with protocols in prior therapy and wish to pursue other avenues with me. I use EMDR and FYD® if and when appropriate.
